Tour description

We will walk through the streets of the most bohemian neighborhood of Madrid discovering the most curious stories and anecdotes that writers have left in the city. Corners to walk and discover other times.

The most important avenue in this neighborhood is Calle Huertas, we will see how a place of vegetable gardens ended up being the epicenter of literary Madrid. Writers such as Cervantes, Quevedo or Lope de Vega lived in this neighborhood.

We will discover the stories of famous writers from the 16th to the 20th centuries. The fights and love affairs of Lope de Vega, the rivalry between Quevedo and Góngora, the curious and busy life of Cervantes.
