Cebu: Free Walking Tour

Fantastic morning tour with Chris who was funny and knowledgeable. He shared some great hidden gems with us. Thank you!

Chris was so friendly and helpful, his tour was fantastic, even considering how busy it is in Cebu at the moment! Very comprehensive tour, lasting several hours. I guess you can dip out Hal way, but be prepared if you go for the full tour it does last all day.

If you just arrived to Cebu this is where you start! Chris is such a wonderful guide and he has created a great walking tour of the centre, talking you through the history of Cebu. I’m an avid traveler and work in tourism myself and I can tell you - Chris has been one of my favorite guides. How did he manage that, well because I love to engage and ‘break the script’ but most guides just wanna stick to their plan. But Christ is also curious and open to a cultural exchange while keeping the tour on track. Of course if you show up to just receive information it’s gonna be a good tour, but if you show up really to engage, learn and be present he will be an even better Guru. Salamat kuya, Tusinde tak.

I had a fantastic walk with Chris, he is very friendly and easy to talk to. Chris is without a doubt passionate about his city and teaching which shows during the walk while visiting all the main attractions of the “Queen city of the South”. The tour is a great way to get you involved in Cebu’s historical significance. Chris also gave me a lot of good recommendations on what else to do in Cebu and how to travel around the island. If you like history and learning about Filipino culture this is a must do activity in Cebu city. Highly recommended
