"The Anthropology of Salsa Music" Tour was truly amazing! Our guide David literally made us relive the birth and development of this dance and at the same time he made us discover a neighborhood, the Bronx, which today is still very undervalued. The tour was accompanied by salsa songs; a music box played the most significant songs! Obviously we stopped and practiced a bit of dancing in the park, to experience the true Salsa atmosphere. David also gave us a lot of information about the neighborhood, its history and current development. The tour ended with an excellent Dominican beer in a very typical bar. I really felt overwhelmed by a mix of sounds, music and cultures! I believe that New York has different facets and this is truly unmissable! I absolutely recommend it!
