This talk was about the port wine of Porto not about wine. It was interesting and the guide was nice but we’d have liked more information and we often had long stretches of walking with no information about what we were passing. Maybe these places were not connected to the port wine trade but we would still have been interested in knowing about it.
Ana was a great guide. I had signed up for the English tour but was contacted beforehand to ask if I could join the Spanish tour as I was the only person who had signed up for the English tour. Since I know some Spanish, I agreed. Ana is tri lingual and very fluent in English, so she was able to provide translation when necessary. She checked to make sure that I was understanding everything. She's knowledgeable and entertaining. A great tour and a tasting of port wine. What could be better?
