Cairo’s Street Food Adventure: Egypt's Gastronomic Experience

My wife and I had a great food tour with Hasan. He was great tour guide with a lot of information that hengave us.

With Hassan we had a great time, it was nice to walk around, listen to all the information and taste delicious local food, sweets and drinks.

Great experience, great food

This was an excellent tour - so much food! If you want to taste some really authentic Egyptian dishes this is the tour for you - the most amazing Garlic Chicken Shwarma, Koshary, Falafel, Ful and loads of sweet treats (I especially enjoyed the Arabian ice cream). And all washed down with a tamarind drink that tasted sublime. Hassan will take you to 6 or 7 local places and suggest the best dishes on offer. It’s all done at a relaxed pace and he’ll tell you about the history and architecture of the places along the way. Make this the first tour you do in Cairo and you’ll be back at the places to eat again and again!

Hassan gave us a fantastic walking tour! He was so friendly and informative, and even checked on our allergies. He took us to hidden gems we would have never found on our own, and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip in Egypt. It was a wonderful experience of genuine Egyptian hospitality.
