I am a BIG advocate of at least one walking tour in each city you travel to and this one definitely hit all the marks I look for in a walking tour. My tour guide, Fatih, was super knowledgable about every question I had. The route of his tour really immersed me into the culture of Istanbul and meet the nicest locals & got to try some of their food. I'd definitely recommend this tour (especially for you solo traveling women)!

I have done plenty of free tours in many cities over the world. This suprised me for the personal touch of Fatih which gives a special insight into religion during the trip. I appreciated his dedication, even though we went over time he was very responsive.
Fatih clearly know what he's doing, he is a professional guide and can give you every detail you need to know about Istanbul. Even when I was the only person who showed up he have an extraordinary tour, and he had an answer for every question (many). We covered several important buildings and each one has an important history that you will hear from Fatih. If you are in Istanbul for a short period of time or for a long one (like me), don't hesitate to take this tour as soon as you arrive to the city, on order to be properly guided regarding the history but also how to move in Istanbul.
Fatih was an excellent guide, very passionate about his job, he was very kind and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us great tips for exploring Istanbul further. Not only did he explained the history of different sites, he shared lots about the culture. Overall he was very friendly and we were glad that we chose him. Highly recommend anyone especially if it’s your first time/day in Istanbul!
