David gave a great overview of Venice and its history. The stops on the tour were really good to explore parts of the city that we wouldn't have seen otherwise, while also making it to St Mark's Basilica. David was open to answering other questions we had about Venice and the sights as well, which was helpful.

Eine Tour mit ortsansässigem Guru-Guide ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Man sieht Orte und bekommt Informationen, die man sich sonst mühsam zusammen suchen müßte. Enttäuscht waren wir von der Gruppengröße, ca 30 Teilnehmer, dadurch zog man wie ein Bandwurm durch die engen Gassen. In einer kleineren Gruppe hätte man besser mit dem Guide ins Gespräch kommen können und sicherlich mehr Insiderwissen im Vorübergehen bekommen.
