Eduardo was very nice; provided information on the history of tacos in Mexico; origins, types by region; and also time of day. Sampled 3 different offerings. All the eating spots were clean, quick, happy to serve. Recommend this tourbto get away from the touristy area and eat with the locals.

Tour was perfect. Come hurry and remember to go back to support local business again after the tour.

This I was the second of Memo’s tours we have been on this week. Stopped at several places for tacos and ended the evening at an ice cream shop. All the tacos were excellent as were the paletas (popsicles). Nemo is an excellent guide. Tour is recommended.

We did the Taco 102 walking tour the first night we arrived in Puerto Vallarta. We were so happy with our tour, we signed up for the Seafood 101 Walking tour. This is all street food. If you are down for an adventure but just need someone to show you the ropes, this is the tour for you! Please bring cash because all the stops are cash only. If you don’t have cash, Memo will show you a local ATM machine that charges only 60 pesos to withdraw cash from your debit card (vs 193 peso withdrawal fee at our hotel). The first stop we had cow head tacos. I forgot the name of the stand, but it was so good. You can order either mixed or cow head meat separated (brain, lips, tongue, cheek). The second stop was a beef tripe taco stop.l (again I forgot the name because I was so busy listening to Memo and eating). You can get it with our without beans. I don’t usually like tripe, but this tripe was crispy! Third stop was Mariscos Cisneros. Don’t be swayed by the place not being packed. Mexicans don’t usually have seafood for dinner. The tacos here are huge and so delicious!! Final stop was at Las Gueras, with Al pastor tacos. It was great and drinks there were even better. I really want to emphasize that these stops were carefully selected by Memo. This is unlike other tours, you could tell tour guides get some sort of kick back. All the owners at these restaurants treated Memo like a family member and thus welcomed us accordingly. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Memo! Remember to tip generously: Memo’s got 7 dogs to feed 😂
