Sergio is a kind and knowledgeable guide. I think if one takes his tour in Italian, it would be enjoyable and interesting. His English is not fluent enough to allow him to share his knowledge in a thorough and nuanced manner for English speakers. There was very little detail and only broad brush strokes regarding Dante’s life, world and work.

Our guide didn’t offer you “ broad brush strokes “ about Dante giving you a deep portrait of the poet and.of the daily life where he were immersed .
