The Rome of the Popes: from Castel Sant'Angelo to the Vatican

The guide had a LOT of knowledge that she shared in a balanced and interesting way.

Maria is VERY knowledgeable about St Peter Basilica and the Popes! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about history, the art and little (but important) tidbits about the Basilica we would have otherwise not notice if it weren’t for Maria. Just be prepared to line up to enter the Basilica, which is just a normal everyday occurrence. But even in line, she had interesting stories about Rome, Vatican and other interesting historical bits. This is certainly a not to be missed tour as we got to appreciate the Vatican more.

MariaGrazia was a fantastic source of information. While we waited in line to be admitted to St Peters, she answered every question by every member of the tour and offered insight to the history of the building and Popes. Once inside, she stopped at many of the chapels to provide a great story. We even went downstairs to the crypts of the Popes.

MariaGrazia knowledge of the Basilica and the history of the Popes was incredible. The tour was thoroughly enjoyable throughout.
