The guru’s (tour guides )of the English tours often cancel last minute citing illness. So don’t get your hopes up English speakers

Rafael Luis was a great guide! He had great knowledge about the places we were visiting, it was fun and made a perfect end to our trip in Rio! Happily again! Obrigada ☺️

When I arrived for the tour, the guide told me he couldn't give it in English because only two people signed up for English and everyone else spoke Portuguese. I don't understand why they would offer this iron and then refuse to follow through rather than accommodate all speakers. I was very disappointed and left.
