OTAKU Sightseeing in Akihabara

Very nice tour, lots of places to buy anime and manga stuff, I would recommend specially if you are into anime and want to buy something related while in Japan

I had no idea how big the merch and anime industry is in Japan! Tiago showed me everything! From futuristic arcades, to a store selling unlimited digital cameras, endless figurine shops from high end to low end. And I can tell he got a huge kick out of my shock every time he took me to another shop. He himself is a figurine collector so was able to answer so many questions about the industry. And he gave me some of the backstory about the Akihabara area plus food recommendations.

Tiago was the guide for my tour of Akihabara. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things anime and electronics. There lots of interesting facts and he catered the tour to my interests. Would diffinetly recommend!!!

Nos hizo un recorrido por el barrio que nos gustó mucho. Todo muy detallado y hacía un gran esfuerzo en que entendieras bien las cosas que veías, dando varios ejemplos. Respondió todas las preguntas que tuvimos y nos indicó sitios de gran interés.

On our last day in Tokyo we decided to learn more about “ anime “ and booked with Guru an afternoon at Akihabara.Tiago was willing to take us around with only the two of us! Very friendly, informative and his personal touch gave us a rich experience of this big business in Japan.
