Brian is very engaged and enjoys telling stories about ghosts, witchcraft etc. He is a lovely person who lived in Edinburgh his whole life, so he is happy to answer all questions one night have. I had a nice time at the tour and enjoyed seeing things I wouldn't visit normally.
Brian is a fun, friendly tour guide. It was nice to go on this walking tour with him. Some of the stories were cool, others not so much - I was expecting maybe some darker, more gruesome stories. And maybe the weather didn’t contribute as much to create a better atmosphere for this kind of tour (it was still daylight even when we finished at 20:15).
Response from GuruThanks for taking time to write a review. There are strories of ghosts, witches, serial killers, vampirism, cannibalism, torture, death and dismemberment. It is more atmospheric in the graveyards, lit only by a full moon. It is sometimes still sunny at 10 pm in the middle of summer, but more pleasant after tours in sub-zero temperatures, rain and wind in January.
