We reserve a tour at 5,15 pm but as they didn’t had enough people they put us on a tour at 6 pm, saying it was the same tour. In fact it wasn’t. We were expecting more information about the history of Toledo. Not the legends or the ‘undergrounds’
Carlos was well mannered and a nice natured person to escort a group on a tour, but the fundamental problem was that he just spoke too fast!! We couldn't fault him on his knowledge and enthusiasm for the city but we felt we weren't really gaining anything from the experience as his language was just so frenetic. Actually we also weren't feeling great (we'd been suffering with food poisoning) so we apologised for parting ways & we went off to enjoy the city on our own.
Unfortunately, the walk was postponed three times, before it was finally cancelled due to a lack of numbers. That was most disappointing but the guide was very good in communicating the difficulties.
Tour was good, a bit crowded though and you couldn't always hear what guide was saying. We were upset because they changed our tour time without any explanation or notice, so we had to wait 30 minutes after the time we had booked. Very unprofessional. Of course, it's a free tour...
