There are some interesting aspects of this tour, such as the mosque, boat ride, and walking through the market. Touring the different buildings in Old Dubai wasn't as appealing as it was not apparent what their significance was. I would have preferred to meet in one location and receive the historical knowledge that Hichem provided. The downside is that the tour is not actually free as it is advertised. You will receive a message from the guide prior to the tour informing you of the payment that is required at the end of the tour.
