Make your trip incredible with this Fes free walking tour

En general el tour es aceptable, pero yo me esperaba algo diferente. No nos dieron muchos datos históricos y el tour fue realmente ir de un local al otro para observar un par de minutos el trabajo de los artesanos y el resto era comprar. Nosotros teníamos un viaje muy largo por delante y no teníamos intención de comprar nada en ese momento. En muchas ocasiones nos presionaron mucho para que compraramos a tal punto que se volvió una experiencia estresante e incomoda.

We were told the tour was to be cancelled the night before thus did not have the tour

The guide was had was very nice but it wasn't Youseff as advertised. It was misleading as the guide and sent someone else. We enjoyed some of the stops but felt there was too much of a focus on stopping at shops to purchase items. We wanted more cultural information than shopping.

Our guide was Khalid, not Youssef which we didn't like, because we booked the tour with Youssef. Youssef asked for the whatsapp number and the address of our accommodation, which we believe was completely unnecessary. Khalid was on the other hand a very nice guide, he showed us all the important points of the Fez medina and we felt safe with him. He also asked us where we would like to be left off, which we think was a nice touch. Khalid's English isn't the best, but we managed quite okay. We made some stops at a tannery/leather shop and at a weaver crafts shop. At the tannery we felt a bit pressured to buy something by the guy who works there but he was quite informative on the other hand.
