The guide was very enthusiastic and showed a lot of things. For me it was a bit overwhelming though because I was the only one in the group and the tour took about 5 hours, in which the guide constantly kept talking and giving information to me. At some point I couldn’t absorb any more and I was just a bit tired. Also I expected the tour to be more food oriented than it turned out to be. We visited a couple of places but I don’t have the feeling I can grasp the food culture of Lima now.

My intention is to share the influence of migrations on our cuisine and perhaps I extended too much into historical details.
