I was very dissatisfied with this guru walk experience. When we showed up, David and a friend greeted us at the meeting point. Which was a restaurant which in the past was apparently the first post office in Kuala Lumpur. David left after 10 minutes, he didn’t say that he was not going to lead the tour. He left us with his friend who didn’t speak good English’s it was very hard to understand him. I am disappointed in David, not his friend. His friend was very nice and tried his best but he did not give the experience that was marketed on guru walks. We sat in the restaurant for 45 minutes. David’s friend didn’t seem to have a speech prepared it felt very unorganized and random. We then walked to “little demons alley” which I later found out from a friend who lives in Kuala Lumpur is just a street behind some bars. We spent around 25mins there as he showed us street art of a boy playing with marbles and someone getting a hair cut. We then went to a temple which he couldn’t tell us much about. I felt very confused the whole time and it was really hard to understand what his friend was saying. Within the whole tour we only walked maybe 10-15 minutes from where we started.

I thought David took us on a really nice tour, and I enjoyed all of the sights we saw, however, I do believe that he could have added more information to the tour. I did not really feel as though I learned too much. I would still recommend, just bare in mind that it is not the most informative.

Covers the main attractions. Guide should leave his personal opinion about womans plans in life about having children or not out. We as woman felt very uncomfortable. Also he asked to give at least 10 €. Which is inappropriate in my opinion.
