This was a very good tour and great tour guide. This issue was it wasnt the right tour for ME. I booked through this company because I thought the guide I was booking worked at an NGO and I do social work in the states so I was excited to hear about Minh(?) experience working at an NGO here. But it was a different guide and so I was bummed about that. Maybe i didn’t understand the guru site… Larger than this- we had to buy the 5 site ticket for this tour (which I knew ahead of time and was fine) but we used 3/5 tickets and only maybe 1/3 of those places I would have chosen to go. The other two were not what I was necessarily interested in so i felt like a bit of a waste. Again, great tour guide, very kind and knowledgeable, just not the tour for me.

Worth doing but try to have your guru take more broadly about the various influences on this region and Hoi An in particular

The tour was ok. The guide was nice but too much information at each place and it was easy to loose interest with so much information.

Unfortunately, the free walking tour concept completely disappears when the guide in the end of the tour says 'you have to pay at least 8 dollars pr person - recommended is between 10-20$'. Also, you have to pay 60.000 for visiting the ancient houses and watch a show that took a quarter of the tour time- so it is no longer a free walking tour.
