Essential Mombasa Free Walking Tour

I only joined for 2h and 15min, so can only rate that. The guide was really knowledgeable and could tell you a lot, cared about the customer. However, I feel we spent a bit too much time at the Fort (more then 1h) and only little time in the old town. We took then a TukTuk to the market, where I needed to leave. We spend quite some time in shops, surely also driven by other tourists but I guess in this 3h we would have not covered at all what is on the itinerary plus way to little time in the old town. For me this was the main aim of taking this tour, as everyone tells you to not go alone. So maybe the Tour should state 4h maybe in this time is possible to cover. Please mind the Fort Entrance needs to be paid still, so bring enough money.

Thank you for your response but from now don't book my tour if you can't manage,most people they book guru walk they are budget and backpackers so they need to use others the way they want, did you know Sabrina also you confused other clients you didn't want other client to feel and to enjoy their tour? From the beginning you Sayed you have only two hours and i told the lady you are in hurry and she needs to enjoy and shopping, and after spice market you told us you are going back to your stay although this work it is challenge instead to say you don't have money why you book tour if you can't afford? The American lady she was very nice and always shocked about your behavior don't book tour if you can't afford American lady pays 50 dollars and really invite me for the lunch and you give it me one thousand four hundred Kenyan shillings, and i payed tuk tuk to with my money the way you are just saying you are in rush and instead to appreciate you don't have shame to write here if you are poor and you can't afford guide don't book take your time shame on you.

Solide und gute Tour. Da wir etwas zu spät kamen (dies konnten wir unserem guide vorher mitteilen), kann ich nicht sagen ob das Fort Jesus und die Besichtigung Teil der Tour waren. Wir wollten das Fort nicht von innen besichtigen und hatten somit 45 Minuten Wartezeit. Die Tour selbst und die Spots sind gut zu laufen und man bekommt einen guten Überblick

Humphrey is a really nice tour guide with a broad knowledge. The tour started great with a lot of explanation at each stop. Unfortunately this got less and less during the duration of the tour. In the end it was more standing and looking around than getting to know facts and information. Especially on the spice market I wished to had gotten more details. Also our wish to visit food markets did not happen, although he promised it when we were in touch the day before. We had a little bit the feeling that the tour in the end was a lot about getting us to buy things from the local shops. In the end, 5 other people of the group visited an old college by themselves without letting the rest of the group know. For Humphrey it seemed to be very important to bring those people back safely since they had booked via a different platform and paid upfront. He was a little unsure what to do with us while waiting. So the tour ended in the middle of a street. For us, the prompt ending of the tour was a little weird. We had expected a better quality.

It was really nice to meet you good people, you booked my tour and you apologize to tour at noon time and me Humphrey i didn't disappointed you to make sure you got what you needed it, although you got many things things you need to do besides the tour, and all i managed to help you and takes longer than tour offered, please if someone book tour it is better to appreciate most people when they book Guruwalk they just thinking is free first it is good to read how Guruwalk says, all we are human you can't use someone energy giving you tour talking show you everything keep you safety at the end you don't appreciate, remember that you are my boss and i am your servant, if you can't afford to appreciate it is not good to book the tour you can do it yourself
