We turned up to the correct place 12 mins early, waited 15 mins past the tour time, sent 3 messages but no response from the guide. We understand if there isn’t enough people for a tour but we should have been told before we wasted our time walking to the meeting point and standing around looking for someone so long in an orange top!
I've been on a lot of guruwalks throughout Europe, and I gave this tour a 3 out of 5 stars. The walk was informative but could have been more engaging.
Maybe we had to high expectations: We thought a local guide would give us the tour. But our tour guide Nikolay only lived in Spain 3 years. He knew quite al lot to tel us about the facts (you can learn easy) but not so much about the culture and meaning of certain customs of the Spanish culture. He did not seem to have a clue, for instance why they were decorating a certain statue "Virgin de las Nieves" in de church, because of a big procession that would take place the next day.
La visita al casco antiguo me ha gustado hacerla con Guru walkers ya que al ir con el guía te va haciendo fijarte en detalles que de otra manera te pasarían por alto.
