Poor knowledge of the city and the history - I wouldn’t recommend - not our usual experience of Guru tours who up till now have been excellent

As explained via message. Our free tour aims to cover a broad range of topics, not just history! Your tour was by a local talking about the culture, inside tips etc along with an overview historically of the city! A free walking tour is not a history tour.. that is what a private tour is for.

Abbiamo provato a fare questo tour ma senza successo. Tutti i turisti erano di madrelingua inglese e noi, nonostante avessimo richiesto alla guida di parlare più lentamente, ci e’ stato risposto “io sono come sono” e dopodiché ha continuato a parlare velocemente . Abbiamo dovuto sospendere il tour in partenza perchè non capivamo ciò che si stava dicendo pur avendo una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese .

Hello Azzurra, Apologies I didn’t meet your expectations.. As you said before the tour you do not speak English very well. I explained my accent is unique because I am Irish hence the statement I said you that my mother used to tell me “you are what you are”. I feel it is very unfair for you to make this review as 1- You already knew and told everyone you didn’t speak English very well but wanted a walking tour. It is not my problem that you don’t understand the language. The option would be to take an Italian tour. 2 - we had a group of 20 people, a 2 hour tour to do with a lot of content. To speak at the speed which you required given your knowledge of the laungage would not allow me to conduct the tour in the manner in which I want to and thus give a bad experience for everyone else. We were unable to attend the tour as we could never find the guru. We showed up at the Google maps address and pin location about 10 minutes early but could never find the guru. We then walked towards the Hotel du Ville and didn’t see anyone there. A couple minutes before the tour started we tried to message the tour on the group chat that confirmed our tour but never heard back. Following spending about 15 minutes walking around the square we took advantage of the locations list provided and visited the site ourselves.
