Our guide was passionate about Donostia/San Sebastian and seemed like a nice guy. He also provided a QR code which uploaded recommendations to Google Maps - a really nice touch. That aside, this was one of the worst walking tours I have been on: - The guide spoke way too fast and was consequently hard to understand. A Norwegian couple asked him to speak slower. He responded with "sorry but this is how I talk" and a shrug. This did not feel very inclusive. They left after 10 minutes. As a native english speaker I probably understood 50% of what he said -The guide discussed at length the high house prices in San Sebastian and the likelihood of him being able to buy a home. When I thought the subject was concluded, we returned to it another 3x. I sympathise with his situation, but dwelling on it was awkward and someone asked if he was ok. A bit depressing for a vacation -The guide discussed his "hate" for Bilbao. Seemed a strong way of putting what I am sure is a friendly rivalry. In my experience most guides try to promote their region -Not many stops but lots of talking at each (which I semi understood)

Bit to long for the amount of information - went for 2.5 hours rather than 2 - host treated us a bit like children

Itinerary was disjointed and didn’t feel like it flowed logically (eg the guide began by talking about the famous hotels and casino, rather than the history and beginning of San Sebastián). Our guide spoke too fast and was very difficult to understand.
