Overall the tour was ok, but the tour guide was quite bias and unprofessional in her opinions on Turkish culture and politics. If you want to hear a sales pitch for an hour of all their other tours this is the one for you.

Disappointed by the tour, whitst not awful, its certainly not a tour of Istanbul. A large proportion is spent in Sophia Haig, around 80 mins. And if I had booked onto a Sophia Haig tour that would of been okay. However I wanted a more generalised outlook on Istanbul, like the grand bazaar and other cultural landmarks. I was given a map at the end and told of places to visit, but felt this defies the point of a walking tour. The group was large, 15 people in total and at times i struggled to hear what was being said and almost lost the guide a few times. Personally not for me.
Response from GuruDear Christina, thank you for your comments. Hagia Sophia is without any doubts one of the most iconic landmarks of Istanbul. Our free tours are not just about history but also an introduction to how to get around this fascinating city yourself.

The guide was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. She answered every question anyone had. However, the tour itself was quite boring for me personally. I think it was too much of historical information for my liking and the choices of the places were not so interesting. I don't think it was worth the 10 euros I paid for tips as recommended by the company.
