VALLETTA. Maltese art, history and gastronomy.

This tour was not very detailed. A large portion of the time spent was waiting in a garden for some cannons to be fired and then stopping in a food court. We heard a lot about what time people from Malta go to the bars and where to get the best espresso martini, but we heard very little about the history of the island. About half the group left the tour midway through to go for the espresso martinis (maybe we should have left then too). We walked past beautiful historic looking buildings with no explanation. We felt after the tour that we were no better understanding the culture and history of Malta. We’ve done about 15 walking tours around the world and this one we can’t recommend.
