Free Tour Lisbon: Essential History, Fun Facts and Free Tastings

I definitely chose the wrong tour or the wrong guide. It was too much information about history, the places that we visited were not really nice, we walked always up and down on the strange way. My own walking was much better than the tour. If I go to the tour that means that I want to see everything I MUST see, touristic and nice spots, but as I said I walked by myself way better and finally saw all the things. Also too much information I will never remember and I gave up listening. I want to know some facts but don't wanna have a history lecture

I prefer the guru to be more polite, less anxious about losing people keep time for photos and bathroom breaks wear bright clothes or some identification like umbrella so people do not get lost.

I have been on numerous walking tours around Europe and this is the only one I wouldnt recommend. The route seemed to have been chosen to avoid hills, rather than going to interesting places and although history was given it felt very basic (e.g. a palace was explained that it housed royalty)

After twenty minutes or so I left the tour, as it seemed to be geared to kids who are here to party. Lots of references to drinking. I was hoping for an overview of history. architecture and current information on the city.
