Free Tasting Tour: A Taste of Gent | Incl. Waffles, Fries, Beer, Chocolate & More

Really disappointing. We arrived on time to be told the tour was cancelled. No warning or prior message. The reason given was that the shops were shut! Surely this would have been known? Shops have standard opening and closing days. Felt like an excuse and that the ‘guru’ could not be bothered. We have used guru tours many times before, but will not do so again. I would recommend avoiding this tour if this is how people are treated.

La guru mi è sembrata molto gentile e disponibile, mi ha invitata ad attendere l'inizio del tour in una sala d'attesa promettendo di passare a chiamarmi al momento della partenza. Dopo aver aspettato oltre un quarto d'ora, mi sono recata a chiedere informazioni ai suoi colleghi, che mi hanno riferito di come il tour fosse già partito, lasciandomi lì ad attendere invano.

The guide just did not arrive. We were 5 people, no cancellation notice, nothing.
