Dharavi Slum Tour With Local Guide

A total decepción. My only day in Mumbai wasted by an irresponsable guido.

Hey Mario it an absolute lie, your rude comment is not acceptable, I tried to help you as I was not available I need go for my children's school which told you clearly and I arrange my colleague who don't do free tour, and you disagree, and she is not 12 old she is short by height but she 22 year old graduate she works for here education,

This was a very very disapointing experience! I booked the tour a few days in advance, got confirmation. The day before the tour the guide didn't contact me, which was strange, so I wrote to him, confirming the tour is happening. He confirmed twice there will be tour. Then at 10pm the night before he messaged me on WhatsApp asking to change the tour time. I responded that I cannot go later, as I have to work in the afternoon. He said ok and but still didn't cancel or informed me he cannot make it. After some time I asked him again, for the 5th time if the tour is happening and at 11pm he messaged to say "the tour is cancelled. Bye" I was shocked. It was too late to look for a different tour, he had the whole day to let me know he is cancelling, he confirmed numerous times there will be a tour and at 11pm, after me inquiring again he cancelled. This is very very disapointing and unprofessional. I am surprised this guy has so many positive reviews. He wasted my day by cancelling last minute and not allowing me time to look for something else to do. Really would not recommend Balaji's tour to anyone.

As in the other comments mentioned the guy wanted to cancel the tour 4 hours before starting time and offered me to take a paid tour for 1000 rp with a friend of his.. it's a shame that he's not reliable, it's my last day in India.
