Our guide did not arrive - we waited for half an hour - very disappointing - and we received no notification that the guide was not coming.
Response from GuruWe were in the meeting point at the starting time, our guides never miss any tour even with bad weather, I think you were in a different starting point or with a different company, there is a telephone you can always call when this happen,
The guide David is rude and not polite. Besides, the tour should start at 10:00, we arrived 09:56, so 4 min before the tour starts, and we didnt find the group because the guide was with its umbrella closed and hided, so we looked for 10min searching for the purple umbrella to finally find it.
The tour itself was fine but the numbers were not capped on the tour. Therefore hearing almost any of the information was impossible unless you got close to the front. The guide was also pushy with collecting money which for such a poorly ran tour was disappointing. Additionally, multiple messages were sent reminding guests they MUST be on time etc and at the site 10mins early but the guide didn’t turn up until after the allocated time. Overall this was the most disappointing Guru walking tour that we have completed.
Response from GuruDear Robert I think you were in another tour as you appear as a no show in our tour in which we were having 3 guides with small groups , so your review must be of another tour, we are here at your disposal if you want to do a tour with us and enjoy the real Venice, all the best
The tour was unfortunately cancelled and we couldn't get another one as we were on a tight schedule.
Leider war David nicht am vereinbarten Treffpunkt und hat auch nicht auf meine Nachfrage reagiert.
