Free walking tour of the medina

Desafortunadamente no pudimos hacer el tour con Ahmed que teníamos reservado para el martes 20 de agosto. Tres días antes nos cambió la hora, pero esto no sería un problema ya que nos podíamos adaptar. Sin embargo, el propio martes, una hora antes de que comenzara el tour, nos mandó un mensaje diciendo que los otros clientes habían cancelado el tour y que, por lo tanto, lo pasaba al jueves 22, pero nosotros ese día ya no estaríamos en Túnez así que nos quedamos sin tour y sin tiempo para mirar otras opciones... Considero que el hecho de que nuestra reserva dependa de las cancelaciones de otras personas no es justo, en fin...

We confirmed with Ahmed several times to make sure our group of 6 people would be able to enjoy the experience. We also called Ahmed after waiting for him and he answered but when we told him who we were he hung up. Not a good way to represent Guru walks for sure.

This is not true ! I messaged you days before to say that i was bot available the day you chose and offered to do the tour the next morning but you said it doesn’t work for you !

Ahmed had no license to offer us a private tour and intented to embark us on a train instead of traveling with a private car as it was previously agreed.

We did not agree for a private transportation Tania , i was waiting for you outside the port , i freed my day for you , paid a taxi to and from the port , the amount we agreed do not cover hiring a car ..It was a misunderstanding and i am loeser twice ..You just left me and took a taxi on the road , i was supposed to stop a taxi to the medina show you around and then another taxi to Sidi Boussaid..

Booked and confirmed the tour with Ahmed at 2pm. As we were getting ready he started messaging asking if we could meet earlier. We couldn’t because it was a very last minute request. 30 minutes prior to the tour he decides to cancel which left us shocked. To cancel at such short notices was very unprofessional. I tried to ask if we could do it at a later time or meet the tour he wanted to give earlier and he said he wasn’t doing any tours. He even went above and started lying saying that it was better for another day since that day was a holiday and everything was going to be closed. So either 1. He was going to take us on a tour with everything closed and waste our time, or 2. He was lying (he was). We went around the areas of the tour and still managed to do some of the things the tour offered but the level of unprofessionalism from Ahmed was truly awful. Booked a different tour the next day with Riadh, such a better experience. I would recommend trying to book tours with Riadh instead so your time will not be wasted.

I apologise for the inconvenience but i was not lying , most of the shops and the cultural centres are closed Sundays. I contacted you on watsup because i was seriously trying to find a schedule with other booking..I remember i offered a different option, to do another day but you refused .. You should have told me how much you were disappointed i would definitely have found a solution .

I waited for a half an hour at the meeting point and Ahmed never arrived. I messaged him on the website but didn’t get any replies.
