Highlights & The Royal Palace

This is not the tour you want to book because this is not what you are used to from Guru. It is a rude commedy tour for far a right audience.

The first tour I was ever a part of where so many people left without leaving a tip and I wasn’t surprised they did so. At the beginning of the tour we were promised 50% of stand-up and 50% of knowledge and none of the promises were delivered. All of the knowledge presented on the tour can be found in 6 minute video on youtube (all of the jokes too, at least the funny ones). I don’t know if it was the guide issue (Seb) or if all of the groups had the same experience, but we didn’t have a good time. It wasn’t particularly offensive it just wasn’t funny and we learned nothing about the city. Right after this tour we cancelled our booking for another tour with this company, it wasn’t worth the risk.

Before booking this tour I was very keen for the politically incorrect vibe. I like the idea of history but a bit of a twist, I've seen this done well across 5-10 tours in Europe. Sebastian leaned hard into this but sadly, probably too hard. Admittedly, he sold the tour upfront as 50% tour and 50% stand up which was an honest appraisal. Unfortunately he wasn't the funniest guy which made 50% of this tour pretty tough to get through. I liked the jokes about Americans, the Danish etc but the multiple references to him having sex, doing drugs and so on were pretty self servicing. We get it, you have heaps of sex and do drugs. Legend. If he wants to keep up with the stand up I'd strongly suggest a bit better material.

Shockingly bad. Some innocent people who came for the tour were bullied by the tour guide and left in tears after he screamed that they can “Fuck off and leave, I don’t give a shit”

Not the walking tour I would recommend
