I have never been on a walking tour before where the guide has brought a bycycle with them. Megan did this and it looked unprofessional

Having spoken to Megan, she's surprised to receive your review - as during the tour, she thought there'd been a good raport during the tour, and that you seemed to enjoy the tour too! All of the guides are freelancers working in other arts/history roles, and so often have to dash for their next jobs - this means sometimes, Megan's bike joins the tour! This takes nothing away from her spectacular tour, that have had rave reviews for many years. There were 5 of us waiting for the tour since 10.50am. Guide did not show up and I’ve called the number that came with the confirmation at 11.00am but there was no answer. We’ve left the meeting point at 11.15 after sending a whatsapp massage to the number. Later on around 12.30 contact number texted me saying that the guide was there, but we were the only ones at the memorial that morning standing right next to the sitting Alan Turing statue. I think there is a confusion there but all 5 of us were disappointed and went our way. We couldn’t attend the next day since we’re only here for a day. I hope they solve the problem for next tours.

He did not show up at the meeting point

The guide did show up at the meeting point. Unfortunately, the guide this morning was late. I informed you on the phone that this was the case. I am very sorry; it is a rare but sometimes unavoidable occurrence. The free walking tour runs Every Day at 11am from the Alan Turing Memorial in Sackville Gardens. Booking not required. We're currently experiencing dealing with an impersonator so PLEASE look for your guide wearing the Free Manchester Walking Tours blue coat!
