This is a scam: it is not a free “tip what you feel like”. I’m having budget issues atm, and I wanted to agree to give around $5 at the end, but I was told I was excluded because that money was not enough to cover their cost. This tour has a minimum amount that you have to pay, so it is completely false the idea of the Free Tour as we know. They are an average Tour Company disguised as a free tour.
Terrible experience as we turned up at the meeting point and no one was there. Then I messaged the tour guide and I never received a reply. Extremely unprofessional!

My PM Feb 15 2024 tour, with a Nelson substitute was VERY BORING and UNINFORMATIVE. The substitute was kind and respectful but a terribly lackluster speaker. While these Guru tours are "free," the guides I have seen have been exceptionally qualified -- with Ph.D. in art history who are passionate about the cities they are talking about. May I suggest -- the substitute write out a prepared speech about each location, memorize it, and rehearse it AHEAD of time. I still made a DONATION to the substitute. I felt obligated.
Mathew really sorry for inconvinience but the guide couldn't make it. Had accident and was exactly before the meeting point.
I' m sorry not to speak louder. But you were the people that never put atention to the tour. Tipically people that arrive with hangover and arrive late.
