We thoroughly enjoyed our walk with Kyle, who told us the city’s history through its well-known figures and everyday residents. His energetic and passionate storytelling kept us engaged throughout—it was both informative and entertaining.

Kyle was excellent. He went out of his way to show us some things. He explained the lives of some people who lived and developed the city which made it very interesting. Best Guru tour I've been on.

Fantastic walking tour with Kyle! Kyle was incredibly friendly, punctual, and entertaining. The tour was full of little surprises and offered great insights not just into Vancouver, but also into Canadian culture and life in general. It was interactive, engaging, and full of great stories that made the city come alive. We had a wonderful walking group, and Kyle created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Your rating “I was surprised “ is not the appropriate rating for the top evaluation of the walk. That said, I thought this was a really excellent tour of Central Vancouver. Kyle presented the history of the city in a very creative and engaging way. Using characters to represent the stages in the city’s development, it was so much more interesting than names and dates. We saw a variety of architectural styles and their placement in a historical context. A very enjoyable three hours exploring the city.

If you want to discover the Vancouver story told in a passionate, personal, artistic, emphatic and accurate way, Kyle is the right guide for you. I travelled quite a bit and had quite a few (guru) walks in different places of the world, but Kyle’s tour was one of the best guru walk experiences.

Kyle is a wonderful man my wife and I really enjoyed the and learned a lot about Vancouver. Kyle did an excellent job explaining so nicely thank you very much Kyle !!

Sara was great, super friendly and really knowledgeable. Great way to start our time in Canada.

Kyle made our tour around Vancouver really interesting whilst showing us the main sites in downtown Vancouver. He is a film script writer and at times had us playing characters from Vancouver’s history. Highly recommended.

Kyle told stories that highlighted the growth and change that Vancouver has experienced through the past. He's very entertaining and engaging. An excellent tour.

We were the only 2 people with Sylvia and so was almost a private tour. Sylvia was great fun , gave lots of interesting facts & was all round a great guide. Highly recommend this tour & Sylvia to anyone in Vancouver
