Free Walking Tours at Mérida

Gabriel was a fantastic tour guide. He provided us with so much information about Merida, and was happy to answer all of our questions from history to food recommendations.

We were the only persons, so it feeled like a personal tour for us. Conzalo Eduardo was very kind and told us a lot of fun facts about Mayan Culture and the history of Merida and Peninsula. He took the time to answering all our questions. Thanks a lot for this walk :)

Very informative! Our only regret was that we did the tour at the end of our stay instead of at the beginning as Gabriel gave us so many ideas of places to go.

Gabriel was excellent. Good, informative tour with the right amount of information, kept us moving and the tour was not too long at less than two hours. In our experience once they go over two hours guides can become too detailed. He spoke very good English, answered all the questions, and also had a good sense of humour. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Jose, although there were only two of us. Had the group been larger, we would have had a blast. The visited neighborhood was great, the Cantinas we visited were lovely. We would have never seen any of these places without Jose. Good experience for our last Merida day!

If you want to explore the real life of Merida and learn a lot about people and culture and have inspiring conversations while being in cute cantinas, this is the tour. Absolutely loved it🙏✨️

We visited places with Willi and José that we would never have gone to without them. We also had a short salsa lesson. The cantinas were great and there was plenty of beer 😉

We had a great time with our tour guides. It was Good Friday so many cantinas were closed and we only visited 2. However, those were really enjoyable and we had a chance to relax and chat over drinks and visit an area that we didn't know

Die Walking Tour mit Fernando war klasse! Ich würde sie jedem weiterempfehlen um die Stadt Mérida besser kennenzulernen. Fernandos Englisch ist hervorragend und man kann ihm gut folgen. Er gibt nützliche Tipps für weitere sehenswerte Sachen in Mérida. Charmant und witzig ist er dabei auch noch. Wir hatten viel Spaß 🫶🏼
