Igor is a very knowledgeable guide about the Moscow Metro. The tour was very comprehensive, full of interesting details that are not known even to Muscovites who use the metro on a daily basis. Igor was patient, spoke excellent English, answered all my questions and gave me a very interesting experience in Moscow. Highly recommended.

Anastasia is a polyglot and passionate guide ! The visit was very interesting, and it was a great introduction to Russian literature and moscovite architecture. Anastasia is very knowledgeable and she counted numerous anecdotes about Pushkin, Chekov, Essenine, Lermontov, Stanislavsky, and many other colourful characters of the Russian intellectual scene of the 18th and 19th century ! The way was also great with many interesting and beautiful buildings and monuments. I can only warmly recommend Anastasia's tour to anyone interested in getting cultural and historical information about Russia, in a fun and friendly way ! Спасибо

A fantastically dynamic and well-paced tour of the Moscow underground! Igor is so knowledgeable of the history of the system, from engineering to design to good luck superstitions. My parents and I have are pretty familiar with using the metro and we still learned a lot! Igor was a friendly and enthusiastic guide. Highly recommend.

If you are interested in Russian literature, this is a perfect tour!

Wow.. the amount of information from history to engineering that Igor had and was ready to share was unblievable. With so much energy he could explain all of it for more than two hours in the noisy stations and if you could cpntinue with his pace there is always more information which he has to share. Dont miss it.

At the begining there were a miss comunication but Anastasia reacted very fast and reachEd us. Then from that moment we just learned lot of amazing facts and with her great pasion, she explained many stories for the three hours and we enjoyed a lot. Highly recomended to whoever read even just one Russian literature.

Our guide andrew was great, he was very well informed about all the places he took us, he was gladly answering our questions, he always added a twist/fun fact to the information he was giving, the tour was nice and comfortable not too long and tiring

Igor tour was good enough to get a head start on what’s what in Moscow. Was introduced to the in and out of Moscow, thought it wasn’t the most professional tour guide it was like having a friend bringing you around his city throwing bits and pieces of the city history and living experience. Igor made this tour memorable for us. Firstly he continued the tour just for the 2 of us. The tour started on time. Igor has super knowledge about the history and the city. Right from the start to the end of the tour Igor kept us telling so much about the metro system and the city along with the history. I would highly recommend everyone to take this tour in Moscow.

We were in for a surprise in Moscow, because location accuracy of mapping applications is deliberately interfered. Consequently we were finding it extremely challenging to reach the start point. Alexander patiently instructed us how to reach and waited 30 minutes to start the tour. He was knowledgeable, articulate and expressive. He really brought the city and its monuments to life, weaving the narrative with historical nuggets. The itinerary was well curated. We hugely enjoyed the tour and will certainly seek Guruwalk and Alexander for our next tour in Moscow.

I recently went on a free walking tour of the Moscow Metro Stations on July 11th, 2024, and it was a fantastic experience! Our guide, Igor, was great—very professional, competent, and well-versed in the subject matter. Despite the group consisting of only me and my friend, Igor went ahead with the tour and provided a wealth of information. We learned a lot of new things about the metro's history and architecture. Igor also gave us some excellent tips for other things to do in town, which really enhanced our stay. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Moscow!

Elena was absolutely fantastic. We were a group of 4 and everyone, including a teenage girl was absolutely thrilled throughout the whole experience. She was very articulate, knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. We all found the amount of historical information being just right, she was wisely balancing history with some insightful facts, which made the whole tour very relatable without too much detail into dates and specifics. Ksenia was a very knowledgeable and joyful tour guide, who had excellent Command of the English language (not common in Russia) which certainly came in handy when sharing the never ending stories in the history of the city of Moscow. She has been extremely accommodating with our needs, breaks and answering all our questions including offering us a lot of resources and suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to dine in. Certainly a great experience on this walking tour, very much recommended! Top tip: ask for recommendations on where the locals eat. You won’t regret it!
