Anthony was a nice guide to have. He was relaxed en knew a lot about the history of Mombassa. We combined the fort and the walk in the old town. I would definetely recommend him to other visitors.

I enjoyed the tour, Antony was an experienced guide. The tour is 3 hours if you skip the Fort Jesus museum, which worked better for me. Yet it was a bit irritating when he mentioned that the minimum tip should be 1.5k KSH—not recommended for anyone who doesn't embrace having a minimum threshold for a free group tour. I had paid 1k for another tour I had earlier in Nairobi (bc I heard 20k is the average monthly salary in his town), and he seemed more than satisfied. I guess things are more touristy in Mombasa.

As it is on the guru platform, all tourists participating on a group tour should tip a minimum of 10 euro to $50 person depending on the satisfaction of the tour. The tip of 1k is way much less than what the platform says. I'm sorry to say that so many of you have been taking advantage and tipping less than 1k yet the platform has made it easy for everyone to experience the tour. A kind advice, next time read through the guru platform before you book. Thank you.
Nicely guided tour trough the most important parts of Mombasa. Antony has big knowledge about the history of the city and it’s people. He was always open for questions and guided us nicely.
