This tour is unique because you get to see landmarks that are outside of the walkable central area. Motorbikes are a part of the culture so experiencing that is a great plus and also very fun. Guides are very flexible and great at communication. I'd recommend this tour if you have a good amount of time in the city and have already been introduced to some of its history.
Peter was a very nice young man who was trying hard, but unfortunately he is lacking the language skills to competently introduce his city to guests. The information he was able to convey was very basic at best and very hard to understand. The fact that we got separated from the others twice, and actually got lost twice didn't help. The tour experience was saved when we declined his offer for a private tour and joined with another couple and their very knowledgeable and eloquent Guru (Sara or Ani??) about 30 min. into the tour. Soli was a very pleasant driver who made conversation during the ride, but did not contribute to the information at the various sites. We had a fun and "adventurous" time driving through Saigon, but comparing to other tours and the expectation based on the title of this tour (explore Saigon's history) we do not recommend it. (In all fairness, our review would have been different if we had been assigned a different, more mature and experienced guru, but since the company qualifies their guides, we can not recommend.)
