Free walking tour della Medina di Fes con Safae

The tour with Safae was ok to know the Medina and the most important places; she also gave us some advice for visiting places outside the Medina. However, from my point of view, there was a lack of information about the buildings and the Medina itself. We visited many local shops that took (to me) much time.

Es ist eine durchschnittliche Tour bzgl der der Information die der Guide weitergibt und dem Guide selbst. Viele Informationen bekamen wir von Händlern in Geschäften, in die wir geführt wurden. Wir wurden aber nie aktiv zum Kauf von etwas gezwängt, was positiv zu erwähnen ist. Der Guide saß während dieser Zeit entweder vor oder im Geschäft und hat nur gewartet. Leider Abgesehen davon, dass man als Teilnehmer an einer free walking Tour, seinem Guide immer etwas geben sollte, wurden wir zum ersten Mal aktiv dazu aufgefordert, dem Guide Geld zu geben. Der Guide sagte zu anderen Teilnehmern:“ Ihr habt noch nichts gezahlt! Wo ist das Geld von euch!“

The tour was nice but it would be interesting to have more information - hear more about the history of Fes and Islamic culture and live of people in Morocco. It would be good to reduce the number of stops where there are trying to sell you something. Feels very commercial and uncomfortable.

Longer than expected (4+ hours). Not too much content unfortunately (questions answered partially or not at all). Pushing for a fixed payment, which is not the idea of a free walking tour. I personally found the tour below average. Most content came from "guest speakers" in shops we visited and spent most time in. Not much history, not much context. Some good but quite basic info were provided.
