The Guru G. did not accept that two people were not willing to give money and started discussing in front of the whole group. It’s obviously NOT very polite not to give money at the end of the tour, but the Guru should accept people’s decisions and stop making people feel uncomfortable. Furthermore, the Guru screamed several times at people riding their bikes on the sidewalk which was more than not necessary. We liked the pictures and the book recommendation given by the Guru, but all in all we did not enjoy the tour too much.
Risposta dal GuruWe apologise for the guide's overreaction. As Warsaw guides we have zero tolerance for fast cycling on the sidewalk, as last summer a cyclist ran into a group of tourists injuring one person (and a couple of years ago another cyclist run over and killed an old lady on the sidewalk). As far as leaving the tour by the end without payment is concerned, we also belive that such behaviour deserves a comment from the guide, perhaps in case of your tour the guide could have used different words (we will improve it!). We hope however that these two overreactions didn’t overshadow the rich content of the tour.
