The tour was perfect to get to know Mombasa as a tourist. The tour guide knew a lot about the city and was also pleasantly talkative. It was also no problem that participants from different providers were mixed together. However, it became a little uncomfortable when we left the free-walking tour early. Instead of being happy about a 1000 KES tip after half a free walking tour, the tour guide rudely demanded double that amount. After wondering he turned away without saying goodby. So plan to bring a minimum of 2500 kshs per pax otherwise you cant enter the Fort or pay him his demanding attitude.

Hello Angelina. Thank you for the response. We spend with you two good hrs explaining to you about mombasa, got a tuk tuk for you guys during tour and all you could tip was ksh 1000 for the two of you. This is a shame and a show disrespect. The platform gives guideline on how the tipping should be but you guys didn't bother. You where just mean. With all due respect, I request each and everyone who want to experience mombasa through me to read everything about this platform and understand what's expected of him/her. Nothing is for free in this world.

The walk was quite boring. At he end of the tour he expected 2000 shillings from every person - much too much for the quality. He was aggressive when he received a 1,000 schillings tip from one of the people in the group

Hello Tomasz. Thank you for taking your time to leave a comment. I apologize that you did have a good experience during the tour. I will work hard to improve on the same. Again note that the platform guides us on the range for tipping ( 10-$50) but some ignore the guidance and end up under tipping. Also I have never been aggressive at any given time when my clients under tip and you can concur with the reviews I have on my platform. I advise everytime you book this tour, kindly read through the platform guideline to under what is expected of you in the future.

I am sure Anthony is a great guide but unfortunately he didn't show up at the meeting point. I don't know if it's his fault or a mistake by guru walk.
