The Guru guide didn't appear in the meeting point. It was very disappointing! A guy was there suggesting us to join his payed tour. I have done many free walking tours all over the world and this is the first time it didn't work. I sent some messages to GuruWalk and I was oriented to join Helen paid tour, but I couldn't find her.

Thanks your review, but this is misleading. Our guide ask you to join paid tour for free of charge because no enough free tour guests . You are still tips based. You could enjoy the professional service for free and the route is almost the same , but guide said you did not believe. We are actually same company. I think there is some misunderstanding. I was asked to agree to a minimum tip of 100 HKD before the tour started. I was planning to give that anyway but being asked to agree to a minimum tip prior to starting the tour rubbed me the wrong way

After many free walking tours done, with different companies, this was the first one, that you MUST pay a fix amount. So it is not a tip based tour, so it is a normal tour with a minimum fee
