I had booked a walking tour two days ago with Guru Joseph, but unfortunately he notified me two hours before the tour for personal reasons. Later Joseph suggested that I book a tour with Guru Dong, two days later. The tour was scheduled for 9 am, Dong moved the tour from 9 am to 3 pm only two hours before the appointment, without asking me to confirm; since I had to take the plane to leave Saigon in the afternoon, I could not enjoy the city tour, ruining the final experience here in Vietnam. The rating 1 is for the terrible and poor organization. I remember that the FREE walking tour was born as a voluntary association to make people aware of the culture and traditions of the country, without expecting tips or suggesting how much to leave as a tip. Total speculation.

I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have your plans disrupted, especially during your final moments in Vietnam. Unfortunately, I had an emergency as my child was hospitalized that day, and I couldn’t manage my commitments as expected. Your feedback is valuable, and I will ensure such situations are handled better in the future to avoid causing trouble for our guests. The guide canceled the tour 30min before announced starting time. Even if this is the (shared?) policy of the Guru-guide, it’s not professional to do so just before the given starting time. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

But I hope you can double check again that you booked my tour on Apr.11,2024 at 15:00pm and I have informed to you that " beause There were not enough attendees for the tour to take place that afternoon( normaly our tour will take around 5 to 15 peoples) . But this day only 2 person. Please modify this booking to tomorrow morning's tour (will definitely take place tomorrow morning tour) if you can attend. In case you cannot attend tomorrow morning's tour, please help me cancel this afternoon booking." I sent this email to you via Guru walk at 11:00am, it means i have informed to you 4 hours in advance but because you didn't check your email and when you booked the tour you also didn't give your whattapp number that the reason I can't contact direct to you on whattapp and i have to contact by message via Guru. You didn't check email this is your fail and If you didn't check your email on time and falsely accused me of canceling the tour 30 minutes beforehand when I informed you 4 hours prior, that would be very unfair to me. You can see the reviews and ratings from other tourists about me, I am not that kind of person. I hope you will revise the review for me by return with many thanks.
