Free walking tour dell'antica Prizren

DO NOT GO WITH THIS GUY!!! THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL “GUIDE” YOU WILL EVER FIND. Firstly, he sent a message saying he wanted €40 for the tour. When we didn’t respond, he said - let’s do the tour, price doesn’t matter! The evening before the tour, we reconfirmed start time and told him how important the tour was to us because it was our first day in Kosovo. Less than half an hour before the tour, he said he wasn’t going to show up if we didn’t guarantee the €40. We were furious, but didn’t want to waste a day. We said we’d guarantee €30 and would be happy to pay €40 if the tour was good. He immediately responded saying his foot was hurting and he couldn’t walk and cancelled the tour. We were three of us so €40 isn’t unreasonable. It isn’t about the money. But this guy shouldn’t be advertising A FREE, TIP BASED tour and then arm twist people keen to learn about a new city they’re visiting. We’ve done hundreds of tours and dozens of FWTs. This was the worst experience. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT EVEN GET IN TOUCH WITH THIS GUY. HE IS A SCAM!!!

In the first communication with the Guru he asked how much we (2) would tip. Without answering that, he askef minutes befor the tour if the rotal of 4 joining, could support him with €50 in total. That was tthe moment we dropped out of the tour. Never before a guide asked so directly for a minimum tip before. That was dissapointing, a guide who don’t understand his own concept of a free walking tour.

Sorry for late reply Steven was eager to know but I liked what interest he showed helped me a lot also to grasp what he brought with him .He is from Spain and politics were not an issue we had great time .

It was the worst walking tour I have ever done in my life. The guide was very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. The information he told us was not interesting at all and some of it wasn't true. My tour was on a Sunday so some museums were closed, but the Albanian League was open. Instead of starting the tour there when it was open, he took us there one hour later when they were locking the doors. He also had tried to change the start time of the tour twice on the day of the tour. And he wrote me many stupid messages the day before the tour. Finally, he complained after the tour when the other tourist and I only gave him 5€ each. The tour wasn't even worth 5€. Avoid it. Don't waste your time or money on this tour.

Do not do this tour has it is a waste of time. I was very enthusiastic and stayed an extra day to do the tour but the tour guide had no training and was a pleasant man imparting his knowledge of his city without knowing much history

It is up to me to make my tour as best but the problem with Thelma she was looking uninterested and tired with one word she couldnt collect all infos and impression of the city .
