You are already a connoisseur yourself and, am certain, your visit to the 'Raphael' Exhibition at the National Gallery answered questions you may have had on the passage of concepts and values from antiquity to enlightenment.
We've got to go through the Enlightenment Galleries of the British Museum together, chatting about Emma Hamilton and her collector husband, so much older and very educated Governor in Naples... and Lord Nelson, the contemporary love of her life, who finally beat Napoleon in Trafalgar, enriching the British Museum's artefacts.
There are so many intimate narratives of particular individuals that combine the fundamental tissue of History and varying Civilisation and these people's stances, acquisitions, passions and fates light paths of the ages.
