Of all the walking tours we’ve done this was the only one we regretted. My husband had difficulty keeping up with walking sticks - lots of climbing up and down and left in the middle of nowhere to get back on our own.

Hello Linda, I'm sorry the tour was not what you were expecting. I'm sorry you had trouble keeping up with the group, but as I'm sure you noticed, I waited until everyone arrived to start the comment. As I'm sure you noticed, Funchal is a very hilly city. If you want to go around, there's going to be ups and downs at some point. I'm sorry you didn't read in the description that there would be up and downhills. In the end of the tour, I offer to give directions to whoever needed. Sorry you didn't feel like asking for directions. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay. Best regards, Lisa

Francis was very informative and has an amazing personality. We were definitely impressed with Gibraltar after taking the tour. He was very patient and accommodating with my husband who uses walking sticks. Thanks Francis for this wonderful experience.
