We had an incredible walking tour of the Marrakech Medina with Ismael! The tour was free, but we generously tipped him for such an informative and engaging experience. Over the course of three hours, Ismael took us through the bustling streets of the old town, sharing fascinating insights into its history and culture. We even had the chance to hear traditional Berber music from a street performer, which was a real highlight. Ismael answered all our questions and made the tour feel very personal. One of the standout moments was when he took us inside a communal bakery oven where we got to try fresh, warm bread—delicious! We also walked through the souks, seeing artisans at work, including blacksmiths, leatherworkers, carvers, and woodworkers, which was such a unique experience. Ismael also gave us tons of recommendations for great places to eat and other spots to explore around Marrakech. Highly recommend this tour—it was the perfect way to experience the heart of the city!
