An excellent tour of interesting sights, including some unusual ones. He gave us time to take photos and absorb some of the sights, which was greatly appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a pretty good workout, ending at the pinnacle - Sacre Coure. Our guide is passionate about the area and the arts, and we learned about the history of many local artists, singers and performers. Saw some famous movie scenes too!
Our guide was delightful. Very knowledgeable and she spoke excellent English. She told fabulous stories of the patron saints, the first church, the history of the area (she is passionate about history), including Sorbonne University (where she studied), the Roman baths, the Pantheon and other interesting places. Loved it!
Loved my walking tour with Papito! He has a great sense of humor and had a clever way of teaching us about all the royal Frederiks and Christians. He is very knowledgeable! Lots of great recommendations for food, shopping, etc.
This tour was way better than we expected! Francesco made it very interactive and we learned so much about Venice's history through the eyes of our extremely knowledgeable guide. Personal highlights of our tour were seeing the Jewish ghetto, the different styles of churches around the city, walking through the backstreets and hearing about the construction of the original city, and learning lots of fun facts about the rich history of this beautiful city. Thank you, thank you for the best 3 hours in Venice!
