An amazing tour and tour guide. I felt like I had a quick and in-depth look at the temples, the history of Thailand, the history and current state of Buddhism, and left with an immense appreciation for how Chiang Mai weaves that all together. Charin was a wonderful guide who took the time to walk us through everything, including drawing things out on a clipboard so that we can appreciate the history, art, and religious context of each site we visited.
A wonderful way to understand the history and geography of Chiang Mai’s walled city. Pailin is a wealth of knowledge on history, religion, and culture with a dash of good humor and warmth. We visited 3 temples (bring extra Baht for admission) and even tasted some fresh local fruit.
