Sono nato a Lagos da sempre ascoltando le storie di mio zio che era il curatore di una chiesa locale. Ho frequentato un corso di storia all'Università di Braga, tra il 2012 e il 2016. Dopo aver terminato quel corso, ho iniziato a indagare su tutto ciò che mio zio mi aveva insegnato in documenti, libri, ovviamente era sconvolto. Ma posso dire che tutte le informazioni fornite da lui erano accurate. Ho imparato anche da pochi eruditi che sentivo che avevano la stessa passione per la ricerca e per questa città. Sono stato fortunato a conoscere queste persone poiché sono sempre state una fonte affidabile. Ho lanciato il Lagos Walking Tour Project nel 2018. Lagos, e tutta l'Algarve, sono sempre stati conosciuti per le bellissime spiagge e la squisita cucina. L'idea di me che creo questo progetto è di poter dare un'altra offerta culturale e prospettiva oltre a tutto il sole e le spiagge.
I highly recommend this tour to see and understand more of the history of Lagos. The guide is well educated and give the context of the questions asked. A couple of hours well spent!
